Seems with climbing inventories + high interest rates and what seems to be low buying activity that there should be some deals to be made.

I'm looking mostly at a Tundra (Limited) or Silverado (RST) anybody buy recently and have an idea on current pricing?

Also feel free to tell me I shouldn't buy either vehicle but should buy whatever your preferred brand is.

I can only speak to my experience with RAM. I bought a 2024 RAM 1500 Laramie midnight edition on the last day of Nov. and got a deal that was too hard to pass up IMO. Now, the RAMs have the 2025s coming out in a few months with the new Hurricane engine, some redesign and new trims, so they are obviously having a lot of potential buyers waiting for that. Thus, more current inventory. Again, can't speak to the other makers and models from an EOY dealing perspective as I was honed in on a RAM at this point.

I basically looked/shopped nationally for the RAM that had the must haves I wanted even if not perfect because I obviously wasn't doing a build. Long story short, I found out about Mark Dodge in LA and got the best deal from them. Was going to go that route but actually found almost the same truck closer by me (I live in NC) and gave them the chance. They were absolutely wanting to deal but couldn't believe the offer from Mark Dodge. But, in the end, they did and also gave me an unreal amount for my trade in. Bottom line, almost $17k off MSRP, several dealer oil changes, multiple free gas fill ups and no dealer add ons (Mark Dodge is sell price plus $475 process fee and that's it). These deals are at least just as good currently from what I have seen, but less inventory obviously so might have to settle some on some features.

As far as talking you into a different vehicle....well, you could get a passionate 20 page thread on what truck and why on this forum. And to each their own and each has their own plusses and negatives. But since you asked, and from my opinion....the RAM has the best ride, best interior, and the best looks for the $$. I look forward to getting slaughtered for this take though

ITS ALWAYS TRUCK MONTH.

I'm starting a job the 2nd week of January and lose my company vehicle the 1st week of January, so I need to move pretty quickly. Thinking end-of-year deals are where it's at. Hoping to get ~10k off MSRP based on what I'm seeing around the interwebs right now, but not sure if that's realistic.

Local dealer is offering $17k+ off this Ram 1500. It's loaded to the gills. The sales managers said to me when I was there Tuesday "That's a 2023 and I want it off my lot by Jan 1".

They apparently have huge discounts on Ram right now in Huntsville.

Sterling MCall Fort Bend is offering like $7k off Tundras. Just picked up a 2024 Platinum Hybrid 4x4. Price you see on their website you can expect walkout to be a little less than that.

Don't think you will see 10k off a Tundra unless it has a 90k plus sticker

Model specific I can vouch for 6-9% off msrp plus $1000 rebate if you finance from TFS

Ended up getting a Sierra with the diesel. Got 8500 off msrp. Had a Tundra down to 7k off on a Limited TRD Pro, but ended up going with the GMC as it was a bit cheaper and much better interest rate.

Picked up a 23 Custom Trail Boss up last night for end of the year. MSRP was $56800 and we were able to get them down to $44900 before TTL. Best deal I've seen on that trim package.

Mind sharing where you got your Trail Boss from?

Reliable Chevrolet in Richardson TX. My father in law actually just got a 23 Traverse LT today from the same dealership. If you want the contact let me know.
