Need to get new tires on my 2018 F150. Does Discount still do good Memorial Day sales?

Been referencing the below thread for selections, just trying to time out the purchase

Been happy with the Hankook Dynapro, so I may just let it ride

I don't have an answer to your question, but a suggestion if you are looking for a good deal.

Look for an F150 forum where Discount Tire is a site sponsor. Last year, I went through a Jeep forum where they were a sponsor. They offered 10% off anything off their website. They also had a promotion for an additional 10% off if you used a Discount Tire credit card (I applied for the card, got approved, put $1 of the balance on the card, and got the discount applied to the entire order). Finally, they let me combine those two with my 10% military discount. I bought a wheel and tire package, and it saved me about $1500 in all.

Another suggestion, don't just look at discounts sales and prices. Look everywhere, if you bring a competitors sale price in discount will typically match or beat it. Dealerships have buy 3 get 1 free sales fairly often.

I thought their military discount was only 5%. Do you get the 10% in person?

It was 10%, but I believe they reduced it to 10% in the middle of last year. Just lucked out in my instance.

I'm just about at 50K and have a trip to the mountains next month, so looking for a refresh. I'm just barely over 3/32 right now, and I'm paranoid about tires to begin with

With discount tire if you purchased the certs does it make sense to intentionally damage your tires near the end of the life, such as putting a nail in two or so tires?

How does discount tires avoid situations like this?
