Tesla Model Y that I bought is the best vehicle that I've ever bought

Most Tesla owners including myself can care less what others buy or if the like an EV. It just seems like the opposite happens where people state false narratives when they never have even stepped foot into an EV.

Even when most EV owners agree that it isn't good for long trips, towing every anti EV rebuttal comes back to, "But it can't tow or go on long trips".

I really think most just hate the inferred gov interference or they are in the oil business or car dealership business.

All the other 99% automotive threads on here for ICE cars do not have people jumping on telling them to buy an EV.

But anytime an EV thread pops up, it devolves into how EVs suck.

I went from a BMW X3 M40i to a Model Y. The Tesla is better in just about every single way. Just an amazing and fun vehicle for what it is.
Well that's a bit of a low bar except for sportiness. BTW, we all know EVs are fast - its their sole redeeming feature.

And the tech and driving experience. Sometimes it's nice in traffic to just let the car do the driving so I can relax a bit on a commute.
I can do that in my Raptor. That's far from an EV exclusive.

Blue Cruise is trash
Raptors don't have blue cruise.

Tesla's need a LOT of oil and gas products to be produced, and then charged, and lubricated, and use larger/heavier tires. Just fyi, despite your punny custom plates about 'no gas' your vehicle represents a veritable fortune to oil and gas product producers/companies.

I just want to help you guys with respect to misunderstandings regarding detractors toward your religious beliefs about your cars and the oil and gas industry (in which I do not work).

I've been in BEV's, both on and off the golf course.

No one really cares about your opinion or mine. What matters at the end of the day is what the consumers want.

Fact is the Model Y was the 4th best selling car model in the world for 2022 and likely #1 or 2 in 2023. The market is telling you that EVs are here to stay and not just on the golf course.

I am pretty sure the government is behind many of these growing sales numbers of EV's (and their various subsidies).

Even with a propaganda movement around them, enormous government/regulatory push toward them, and a halo car/snob appeal to boot, they were 14 percent of auto sales last year.

Your logical reasoning skills are showing again in claiming (a) consumers want them (on the one hand), while simultaneously expounding that (b) the Model Y is the top selling car this year (or so), ipso facto 'the market' has spoken.

They may in fact be here to stay, with that being said, but again that's not really…my point, at all. I'm glad you enjoy your car. Happy Easter.
