Right. My point is you got to pay sales tax where it's registered. Where is this RV registered? Texas is cheaper than Indiana or Utah. Colorado would be nice at 2.9% I'm not sure how you swing that if it's just stored there.


Colorado has an ownership tax, which on a 100k+ rv would not be fun.

I love me some Texas, but the tax we have to pay when purchasing a vehicle is ridiculous. If I buy a new vehicle once a year, I'm forced to either be smoked on taxes or trade raped by a dealer to avoid the tax pounding. I have never leased a car, but that's all screwed up here too. Lease a car and pay the sales tax, end of your lease if you want to buy it you get to pay taxes on the full value again.
