15 years later and it's here!
I'd assume you can build a Tundra to your specs and then add $10k to that figure, that's what the Sequoia will cost.Flaith said:
I think they knocked it out of the park. If I needed to carry 8 adults, 3 dogs, and tow a boat, i'd consider it.
Curious about price. They are going to sell a billion of these

Wait, do the third row seats not lay flat?Bigballin said:
I like it. However, there is one issue and that is the storage area. Wish there was an option to delete the third row.

The third row thing is a real issue, but that's because the Seqouia has a solid rear axle just like the Tundra. That's why the floor height is higher back there.
Expedition and Tahoe/Yukon have independent rear suspension.

The third row also reclines and can be had with power-folding; it can be optioned with the Sliding Third Row with Adjustable Cargo Shelf System, which has 6-inches of fore/aft movement and a removable shelf.
3rd Row doesn't fold flat, that's why they are including the adjustable shelf. Seems really odd. I really am a fan of the exterior design but the interior looks significantly smaller than the current model and the Expy/Tahoe.Sazerac said:
As someone who bought a 21 last summer I was hoping they delayed the huge upgrade to 23.
Engine, cockpit, and 2nd row heated/cooled are big improvements.
And I'm sure the 3rd row lays flat as it currently does.

I must have missed that. 3rd row is fixed with seats upright all the time? That is an immediate deal breaker for me then.
No, they fold down and can move forward 6 inches, but they don't fold flush into the body.Sazerac said:
