My plan is to pull the bed off to paint the frame and do the rear suspension work. The frames have some serious problems rusting on these, so just trying to be proactive. I've heard horror stories of rust and stuck bolts under the liner, so decided to take a look. Pulled the hard bed liner out and cleaned it up. Luckily, it was in great shape!

The tailgate latch and mechanism on these trucks need be greased every few years. It was over due, so very hard to open. Decided to knock it out before it cost me a tailgate handle. I ordered some new plastic rod clips beforehand. I don't have links, but the ones I ordered were OEM on the second gen Tundras, and are much beefier. Before and after pictures:

My daughter just bought this in Colorado. 2000, 4.7 liter, 4x4, 125,000 miles. 1 owner. Probably overpaid (10k) but she needed a used truck quick, after a wreck.

Great condition, other than the paint job. Interesting color. Never seen it before.
