Pacifica is getting a lot of hate from folks who either don't read or don't put much weight in Consumer Reports. Last "Car Issue" I read, they were all about the Chrysler (Fiat) minivans.

They Pacifica is rated highly in the CR test scores but is not recommended and has a "far below average" reliability score.

I know of two people both that post here that have 17 and 18 Pacificas that have had AC compressor failures both only a few thousand miles out of warranty. I replaced one and another guy had to done at an independent shop.

We have an '18 pilot, which is pretty much the same thing. It's been great. Best vehicle for trips and kids ever!

I live in the Midwest, when snow is on the ground I always kick myself for not getting our Sienna with AWD. If you want a minivan with AWD I'd go Toyota before Chrysler.
Live in the MW as well and our FWD Odyssey was always fine in the snow and even in the snow on a ski trip to CO.
