Some of these have switched power and constant. And some have capacitors built in.

Uploaded with my comments.

REmove these two bolts and save them. The tracker is right under it. So cut the zip ties and go hunting. Your 'real' OBD port is under there somewhere.

Put real OBD port back and use bolts to secure it.

I'm kind of jealous of all the space you guys have in the footwell and under the dash to work with. I've spent way too much time with my back on the floor, feet up the back of the front seat, trying to avoid knocking my head into the clutch pedal.

Seems silly but it works. I take two folding chairs right outside the door in line with each other, but opposite directions. Then I use a pool float to lay across the chairs and into my truck. it's not the greatest, but at 54 it helps my back a lot. I also have my wife help me with tools.

I'll have to remember that for the F-100, but on the two cars I'd need something more like a creeper than folding chair. They're not moar low (yet), but they're already pretty close to the ground.

Truck is clear.

Pic below 2016 Honda Odyssey. I don't see a standard OBD and followed the wires best I could in the cramped garage. Any thoughts as to whether this looks like a tracker or is normal OEM?

The only "car" in the fleet is my daughters Volvo. Haven't had to get under the dash. I'm thinking maybe the chaise lounge by the pool is low enough.

Spying on fellow citizens is borderline treasonous even if I signed an agreement form somewhere along the way. The individual is truly the product now. SpireOn is the brand name of this tracker.

Now to figure out how to keep the Toyota head unit from phoning home.

And my phone haha. Time to go with a rooted Pixel and Graphene OS.

That's your fuse box

Look for the OBD port. Sometimes they're closer to the gas pedal.

I unscrewed the obd port. I don't see any extra wires but I see zip tie securing the wires under what looks like some kind of shield to prevent wires crimping.
