And I have a 2002 version of this in brown, with the 8.1, and about 25K fewer miles. I love it. It will pass anything on the road, except a gas station, and do about 85% of what a diesel could. The 6.0 might do about 70%.

There are more 8.1s out there than you'd think. Would love to supercharge one, see what power you could get out of it.

I wish it had the 6 speed allison, not the 5 speed. Mileage might be a little less sucky. Supposedly you can convert it to a 6 speed, but the kit is $1000. Have to save a lot of gas to pay for that.

As for color, it's that weird color that you can't decide if it's brown or silver. Not mine pictured below, but a twin

1. Love the truck. If it were later this year might seriously consider.

2. "Older gentleman" is the term I use. Though, at 57, I'm beginning to see that the first part applies to fewer folks all the time. :-)
