Hello need some help with this. I got my car scanned at Auto Zone and this code popped up P0101. I saw its the Air Mass Flow sensor. I did have a K&N filter in the car since day one. I read online those tend to damage the sensors. Unhooked the battery, replaced the sensor, and air filter. Waited 30 mins hooked up the battery code was gone. Next day check engine light back.
Nissan forums say that there is service bulletin out for this issue that the ECM needs to be reprogrammed. My car has 83k miles on it and was trying to get a estimate cost how much this would be? Called Nissan and they want to run it under their machine free of cost but lady told me I would need to drop off and can take a few hours for them to get back to me.
Any input would be much appreciate thanks!!
