I've been wanting to get into a project for awhile and finally made the plunge. Got a call from my uncle who had a friend selling a 76 dodge colt. Went and checked it out today and loaded her up. This will be a good learning experience for me on my first resto

Nice find!

Like really early Subarus those seem to have a lot more in common with 60s British sports cars than 70s American cars in regards to the brakes and drivetrain setup.

I don't think I've ever seen one of those. Looks like a 5/8 scale Aspen. I want to drop an Ecoboost Mustang drivetrain into everything too small to hold a V8, so you should do that.

Absolutely. The gas pedal has a bungee cord attached to it to keep tension lol. The "gas tank" looks like a backpacking water blatter bc the gas tank is rusted out

I don't get the whole naming of cars, but in your case, I would make an exception, perhaps Rita or Philomena.

Yeah in that same time period GM teamed up with Isuzu and Ford with Mazda..Think Chevy Luv and Ford Courier...
