I have to start looking for a new truck immediately. Plan is to try and find a 2017 at a good price.

My 2014 Ram 1500 was paid for so I'm not thrilled about this.

Any recommendations or good deals anyone might know of

All kidding aside, that's pretty serious man. Imagine if that had been inside an attached garage and the family was sleeping.

I'd raise some hell. Contact the NHTSA and file a complaint. Give them the opportunity to investigate.

I completely agree. I have a 1500 that i Park in the garage from time to time. Granted these don't occur every day but i am curious as to the details.

Trust me...I've had every thought imaginable about what could have gone wrong. That garage catches and there is a propane tank 5 feet to the left that starts heating up.

One of the explosions shook the house. It's the one that brought me outside thank the Lord. It cracked our shower glass window.

Thankfully the garage door held until the FD got here!

geez... that is nuts. I believe there was a fairly decent size recall 5-6mos ago for possible truck fires related to Ram.
