How long do you want to ignore this user?
I had the camshaft sensor replaced about two months ago. Perhaps some wire that has been worn down ?

DId they maybe diagnose it wrong as the cam sensor when it should have been a crank sensor?
did the shop use the proper alignment tool when installing the cam sensor?

I thnk you mentioned before you have a 3.0L....

from the picture posted, looks like should be easy to do yourself. Trip to autozone and swap. If it works great, otherwise shouldn't cost much and you'll have one newer part on your truck.
