Where does one purchase one of these trucks? specifically a c10.

I did. A farmer down the road from me bought it as a project for him and his teenage sons to work on together. I told when they are finished with it he has to bring it by for me to see.

He definitely has his own style and is partial to slammed trucks with oversize solid face wheels and rubber band tires. Every nut and bold in his project trucks has been replaced but if you read you will see he lists "paint and body" as two services his shop does NOT offer. Hence the nice patina trucks he turns out.

Camo - start trolling craigslist and country roads. There are some nice projects sitting out there. If you are looking for a C-10 you are looking for any 1/2 ton (that's the 10), 2 wheel drive truck (that's the C). A 3/4 ton 4wd would be a K-20, a 2wd one ton would be a C-30. If it's a C-70 you better have a big garage... that's a big bobtail and K-5 means "bust out the checkbook"; that's a Blazer.

Now it's an old truck.

Took Centerpole Jr. to see Iron Man 3 last night for a boys night out and cruise in the C10. I couldn't believe my eyes during the movie but google-foo confirmed I wasn't crazy - FARM-TRUCK made the big time!! You have to be quick because the image is only a fraction of a second, but there it is in all it's wheel standing glory. This sleeper Chevy truck made it's way into the much anticipated latest installment of Iron Man....

Thanks Centerpole for posting. I've had this truck for about 23 yrs. My father bought it when I was about 10 and told me that was my truck. I tell you I cried...the truck was ugly! Little by little we restored it to it's present condition. Hope when I have kids they don't cry when I show them their first truck! Haha
