Go for the humvee. There is thousands out there, and GM Diesel parts are easy to find. The upside to diesels are they will run on all kinds of fuels, and if they use mechanical fuel injection, I really wouldn't see any reason why they would use any electronics to stay running once they are started. They are rugged, good offroad, have plenty of room and come with an assorted choice of roof mounted weapons.
