SpaceX test's almost every day. Sometimes multiple times a day.
Got two solid firings this afternoon sitting at my parents house near Harris Creek.

I thought that 6pm one was going to blow out the windows. Long burn too.

We live very close to Harris creek on church. My kids love hearing space x, not sure why but they do.

They were pretty busy last week.

The first 6-7 times were shocking but after that, it was kind of like living near the train tracks where it just becomes background noise.

The night firings were pretty awesome last week because you could see a big red ball reflecting off the clouds.

Not wanting to pile on the OP, but after reading this 6 y/o thread complaining about military training that has been going on for decades, their outlook on COVID makes complete sense now.

I dug through the Centex Board for several years worth of posts and this was the closest thing I could find to a Space-X test fire thread.

I live about 10 miles from the SpaceX site, on a ridge, so I have a good view of it.

They love to fire the last test of the day at 9:55 PM. They don't test after 10 PM.
Yep. We must be neighbors...

Ft Hood training noises are just part of living in a free country. Those type of exercises typically last no more than 10 consecutive days.

I remember living in Temple I could sometimes hear Fort Hood. And then living near Camp Pendleton I could definitely hear it, sometimes feel it (lived much closer).

Also, anyone get to see this: https://www.armytimes.com/news/your-army/2021/11/18/sappers-blow-up-local-water-park-no-really/?utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=

Ft hood to the immediate west, less than 2 miles. Spacex to the east about 10 or 15 miles. Spacex seems to carry better when the weather is right, super loud. Can't imagine living close by.
