Hey guys, I was planning on taking a quick weekend trip over to the island around April. So far, I haven't had much luck finding anything through google searches on the area with what I was looking for.

I was hoping to find somewhere <200/night, preferably on the water, and somewhere that may accept dogs. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions? Thanks!

Sand N Sea handles a lot of West Galveston rentals

sand n sea does a great job. we've used them several times in the past and their website is very user-friendly and helpful.

that said, i'm not sure they're going to have anything that meets all of your criteria for under $200/night.

Yeah, the rentals are all for large families that I am finding. I'm really only needing a bungalow for 2 people. Tough to find.

I've got a place that sounds about right. It's my personal fishing cabin and I'm pretty dog friendly. It's on the water, minutes from the bay, and it has a boat slip under the house. I can do it at the rate you mentioned as long as you and Fido don't tear anything up. I only rent it out to friends and other Aggies. Not much luxury, but it's clean, and you'll have a tough time beating the location. Drop me a line if you like...
