Awesome, I can't wait to be able to turn the radio on and hear some good Tx music. All the stations up here in Tn/Ky suck, it's all about the mainstream Nashville sound around here.

It's back, I listened to it all weekend when I was down in Rockport.

I listened for a little bit on line, but didn't like the selection as much at the "all new texas mix" back in the early '00s. But it is much better than K99 or anything Tejano. I thought the old selection was much better. Is it still owned by Daddy D?

Though if I am in Corpus, I must tune in to C101 every so often for some poetry from the blotter and mucho metallic.

Remember the good old days when 98.7 out of Victoria broadcasted their signal on KBSO? You could drive from Kingsville to Houston and listen to Steve Coffman and the Texas Mix. I loved that station and what a man he was.

For the Houston area, mainly on the west and northwest side, you can tune into a Texas Music station (105.3) and listen to great texas music. It is pretty darn good. They have been on the air since late 2008, so join in and support the great tunes.

In addition to now having a good radio station to listen to, the live music scene has really picked up with Texas Music Thursdays at Brewster Street Ice House.
