Heard yesterday that PNGISD is looking only at candidates with master's degrees for their head football coach opening. Um, what?

That's one way to winnow the applicants, I guess.

It was in the paper earlier this week. It automatically rules out people like Mike Long who dont have a Masters. Stump's not interested in leaving Westbrook. Best of luck to them finding someone.

My guess is that maybe they were trying to keep the pool low enough to hire Jim Bob Helduser(Masters from SWT), former PNG player and classmate of Matt Burnett. Sadly, Jim Bob was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer recently. T&P for one of the good guys.

You do realize Wade Phillips attended PNG as a student while his father Bum Phillips coached at PNG? Jimmy Johnson? We don't want that Yellow Jacket anywhere near PNG.
