elitist school, thumb your nose to others, they recruit out the rear end, pretty good campus

Didn't really hear anything negative 'til now. Went ahead and enrolled my son last week. Hope it's not too elitist, or we won't fit in at all. Academics seem better than area public schools and their new football stadium and basketball facility have our son absolutely pumped.

Just made our first payment. That part sucked.

Friend's kids go there...they love it! It's a good school from what they say. They gave me the %, but don't remember of how many grads get scholarships to go to college. Like he said, he would rather pay now to get a good education and get into college free than to pay for college in several years!

I am a parent of two kids at All Saints. Our experience with it has been great. I am sorry if others think of it as elitist, but I haven't found that to be the case at all. Like anything else in life, it is what you make of it. Many of my best friends in the past few years have been made thru this school with parents of other kids. I think your kids will have a great experience.

For the record, I don't thumb my nose at anyone...never have...never will. An ounce of pretention is worth a pound of manure...so is making judgement about people you don't really know.

I'm curious, what district(s) are you in that you elect to go private over public?

We live in Chapel Hill school district, but the district really didn't have anything to do with why we chose to send the kids to a private school.

Our son was attending Van.

I should probably elaborate:

We don’t feel Van ISD is deficient in any way. We just like that fact that a private school has the ability to basically build a curriculum around each student. That’s just not possible at a public school. (at least not from what we've experienced) Plus, we're excited about the exposure to art and foreign language that All Saints offers.
