I may have posted this before, but are there any local saw mills that sale dried hard wood lumber?

I visit Deanos north of Tyler, but selection is limited and pricey. I'm okay with lower grade wood and not particular to a species as I'm willing to work with anything.

Check with Custom Cut Lumber in Alto, we bought an oak 8x8 from them several years ago to use as a mantle and they had a large selection.

Fair warning, unless something has changed since 2020, they were owned by Church of Wells members. Great prices, odd people.

Store on square in Frankston has lots of wood.
Ditto Alto- there are several there I think.

Stopped by the joint in Frankston. Nice country old guy runs it. Lots of wood. Mostly cedar. Bought a slab, but his prices are a bit proud for what he is selling.

BIL does lots of woodworking- cutting boards, tables etc. Said he got some white oak in Big Sandy and bought from guy in White Oak. He said best bet is to google sawmills in East Texas and go to Facebook market place- lots of lumber all over for sale in different towns. May not be dried out though
