Anyone have any idea what's going in at the old Ryan's Steakhouse location on Broadway? There's lots of construction activity going on with the building.

I first read this as "Jack Ryans". As a person that finds that place to be cool, but way overrated, it surprised me.
But since we are taking about that crap hole on South Broadway, it is bring replaced with an all-you -can-eat crap hole.

Figures. I never ate at Ryan's but figured it was probably equivalent to a Golden Corral. Thanks for the information. Now I know to tamp down any excitement I might have. I'm kind of surprised there wasn't a Golden Corral in Tyler but those places all seem the same to me.
Ryans was more equivalent to Sizzler if you know that point of reference.
There apparently uses to be a Golden Corral in Tyler, how something like that would fail to make it in this town is unbelievable.
So they'll try again. And probably serve to long lines of people for years...
