I have a possible job opportunity in Texarkana. It is a much better job that what I currently have and it pays much better. Anyone have any input about living there? I could also use some suggestions on apartments or where to live.

The north side of Texarkana is really nice, and they just built a big new appartment complex on that side of town on Richmond Rd. There's another appartment complex called the Links on the Arkansas side that are pretty nice too. Some of the rural areas surrounding Texarkana are really nice. I would avoid any appartments in the downtown areas, including anything on Robison Rd and Tucker.

The position is a management trainee for an 18 wheeler dealership. My buddy works for the company in El Paso and loves it. I sounds like an opportunity that I wouldn't be able to pass up.

If the cash is right, go for it.

let us know how it turns out--- chances are, your 18-wheeler company is in a crappy part of town.... don't live close to work.

There are several 18 wheeler dealerships along I-30.

There is a brand new apartment complex on North Richmond Rd. which is very nice.
