Models are developing another tropical system for us the first week of October but I would give that less than a 5% chance of becoming reality at this point. Once you get 250+ hours out in tropical weather models it becomes very iffy.

Thanks - I hope you had a nice trip. Yeah, we got a bit lucky TWICE this season. Laura whiffed and Beta fizzled. Thanks for all the tropics info. I hope it starts to wind down some after this.

Still looks like it could be possible trouble from those maps, but the word is high pressure is supposed to keep both of those from threatening the Texas coast. Is this what you're still seeing as well?

The first one for sure. The second one is probably gonna sit in the gulf for a long time but my guess is it doesn't really affect us either.

Whoa. Joe B says at least Cat 4.

Think Delta AT LEAST A CAT. 4 AND PERHAPS A. CAT. 5 FOR TIME ON THE SAFFIR SIMPSON SCALE. though onmy power impact scale the radius of wind will likely limit it. Pressure fall to. 920-940 and winds get to 150.. perhaps more We have been much faster on intensification. Textbook
