I have four good size citrus trees in the back yard. I flood irrigate the yard so they get plenty water. This year the fruit was either very small or not very good. I have a Rio Red grapefruit, Mars, Valencia, and Navel orange. The grapefruit tree had loads of fruit but it was mostly about the size of a tennis ball. The orange trees didn't produce much except the Valencia but that fruit was sorta bitter. In the past these trees have really done well. Anyone know what the problem might be?
All organizations are perfectly aligned for the results they get.

Lots of reasons...(I talk to a lot of citrus folks)

Citrus Greening Disease
Irregular weather patterns (rain last year)
Mexican Fruit Fly Invasion
...of course Nutrient Deficiency (when was the last time you had a soil test?)

I would start there.

How do the leaves look?
