So (as expected) the bridge construction in RH is taking a year longer than planned. Buddies of mine that fish out of Arroyo City day it is killing the economy in RH. I don't even know how to get to Arroyo without crossing it. Anyone got details on it?

Where did you see this? Everything I have seen to date indicates it might open a little ahead of schedule. Scheduled for 33 months and now looking like 24 months or less.

I know Rio Hondo folks are not happy about the time the bridge has been closed. And there's no doubt it has affected them economically. But, the fact is that the re-opening is still ahead of the original schedule, not a year behind as your first post said.
