Anybody from there or relatives? Grandfather and Grandmother were from there and lived in Ballinger, Tx after they got married. Coy Estes and Willie(Gregory)Estes. Left in 1938 to Ballinger. My Dad Ivan Estes was born in San Angelo 1945 and grew up in Ballinger before going to A&M in 1962 Dad would take me to Lake Talpa to fish all the time since that is where he fished with his Grandparents

All have passed on but was wondering if there was a bed an breakfast around that area. Stay in San Angelo for a couple of nights then move to the Talpa Area for a couple of nights to go to Santa Anna and Brownwood.

I haven't been, but I hear great things about the Coleman pizza place.

I'll vote for Vagabond any day, but if you're in Coleman RL pizza is certainly better a generic pizza hut or convenience store pizza -

but Black Cur Steakhouse is worthy of a road trip to town. It's been our anniversary and birthday choice recently
