Howdy! Ags over my lifetime are always generous- here are some ideas if you have kids or don't in a school system.

Tired of desk clutter?- clean out excess pencils/pens (that work) and donate them to a local school or teacher. From experience Middle & High School kids tend to not have these on hand.
(Today I had a friend bring by old promotional pens for my students- Awesome!)

If you have the means- especially near the holidays- ask a fellow educator if they know a person who is working for wages on campus how to help. Often these people are just getting by. Just giving an HEB gift card or stocking up on essentials and dropping them by the school is helpful. There are always families in need. (Currently my team is saving up to help our one of our cafeteria workers get a window replaced in a van- that has been busted for over a year).

Volunteer your time to read to students or as a campus how you can help. I teach at a small Title 1 school where A MALE PRESENCE is needed. Small amounts of time can help wonders.

Ask teachers of one student per grade level that might need 'sponsored' during the holidays. Many times the teachers pool together resources to support these families. I will be asking my father's company for extra 'coupons' for free turkeys around the holidays.

Teachers are always trying to reward kids. Offer to provide 4 $5 giftcards. It is crazy what kids will do to win. Teachers will make sure it is fair. Last year, we had a teacher draw for $20 from kids with no late work the last 6 weeks. Two of our students (who won) told the teacher that they had NEVER had their own money. Crazy the differences in cultures and circumstances.
