My 30 yr old apt (2x2) is $1250 a month. It's quiet, well kept, but again, old. Main reason I leased here is bc they have full W/D in my unit, it's first floor, and less than a mile from the office.

I mentioned it earlier, but Shrek: The Musical opens a week from Friday. MCT is the first community theater in the world to put on this production.

Wadley duplexes has been the best deal I have found in town. They have old houses and built some new ones. I am renting a 3 bed 2 bath house, anew build, for 1700 a month. It's worth about 900 a month in any other city, but here it was a great deal.

The new houses are on shandon, between Pecos and big spring. Basically there was an empty field in the good side of big spring and they dropped about 7 new houses. They also bought out some of the shadier neighbors and are renovating those houses.

Looks like I'll be joining you fine people, set to start work the beginning of March. That gives me at least 2 weeks to figure out what I'm going to do for housing!

My work should be covering some kind of temporary arrangement but I haven't talked to them yet, so I'm exploring all options since I've heard waiting lists can be long and I probably will need a place by April.
