Headed to San Angelo from DFW, through Abilene. Is I-20 a complete disaster? What about 83/67 going into San Angelo?

Can't tell you about the road conditions, but I-20 to Exit 330 and then south to Angelo via Coleman is the fastest route. 120 miles that way. About 10-15 further thru ABL.

Traveled that route for 35+ years till I moved and still drive that way when going home for visits.
