Just want to say this heat wave has extended its stay. I've had two separate neighbors in the past 2-3 weeks lose pine trees to the pine bark beetle infestation Fortunately, the cooler weather is finally coming here in a few days….

Who cares about the temperature when you can't walk outside without being eaten alive by mosquitos. Holy cow..the last couple of days have been the worst i can remember in years.

They haven't been bad at the house at all and only bad while out hunting right as the sun comes up or goes down. But a Thermacell takes care of that problem.

But either I don't get bit as much or just don't notice them like others do that apparently get swarmed by them on the regular.

We have traps and spray at the house so they haven't been bad.

They've been terrible at parks, though. We were at the bingo hall/lodge in the heights one night last week and think my son got 30 bites.

I've been fine (knock on wood) at the house - but on my runs at the park they've been vicious.
