Does anyone have any recommendations for a wrestling club for 8-10yo? I'm in the cypress area

It has been a minute but there was always a really strong youth club in the Klein area … let me run my traps and see if i cant find a contact for you

spring Klein Wrestling Club was it. I have not had any interaction with this group in 10+ years but it was a highly respected program back when

SKWC is still a great program and a big club. My son is 15 now and trains at War Training Center on Eldridge - the coaches are great and we've been really happy. A lot of the wrestlers on his high school team train at Global Wrestling Club in Tomball.

My buddy used to run Cypress Wrestling Club but think it shut down a while back. My son trained at Global Martial Arts which had wrestling classes. There is also Labyrinth Wrestling Club. SKWC is solid, they host a lot of tourneys.

Jamisyn Preston Clark is not from Bridgelands originally nor is he 7, he's 8. His mom and her bf moved from Pasadena. Bet cautiously is all I'm saying.

This sport is not yet regulated like it should be. They don't require birth certificates yet in the area.

Is this where we make the joke about the best club is in my backyard?

I can't help you on actual clubs, but I will say if you're not exposing your kid to YouTubes of Dusty Rhodes promos, you're doing a real disservice for your child's rasslin' future.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I took my boys to WAR this week and they love it, especially my youngest 9yo. There is a 12yo kid there with a Mohawk that is smaller than my 9yo, he apparently is ranked #2 in the country and he smoked my kid… it was great to watch but that kid has a great attitude and going out of his way to teach others.

The coaches are great, gym atmosphere is great… we are going to enjoy it. Now I need to find a store to load up on some merch!

So glad to hear that! My 16 year old has trained there for years and we couldn't be happier. Kyle and James are legit and very technical coaches and they are great with the kids.
