I have a really nice one that I will let go cheap. Half the lights don't work though. You would only have to wrap half the tree. It is a big mofo too. Not Griswold big, but like 12'.

Wait until Black Friday. Lots of places will have them for great prices.

Plus, Christmas trees shouldn't go up before the day after Thanksgiving anyway.

We've always done the Lowe's Black Friday sale.

Generally true, but I've violated that rule on a couple of occasions. One year, Christmas came and went, January came and went, and all I'd managed to do was to take ornaments off the tree. My daughter was just getting to the crawling stage, so it made sense to get the ornaments packed away. But what didn't make sense was me taking a look at that tree standing in the front-room window and I said, F it. And it was still there in June.

Another year I was dropping my daughter off at a Sunday night Bible study she was doing at the time when I noticed Christmas lights and a tree in a neighbor's window. In October. Next day I put mine up.

When we lived in Portland, we had a family from our church that lived in Taft.

The lady of the house had the same Christmas tree up for at least five years straight.

It was not an artificial tree.

I might have an extra brand new one in box for sale soon. Somehow my wife bought 2 last year, one before and one after Christmas. I think one is from Costco.

We put ours up last weekend. 2 new 6.5' pre-lit trees from Home Depot for the dining room. Our living room tree is from Hobby Lobby, but not pre-lit. We found that the lights kept dying every so often, so we decided to get an unlit one and replace the lights instead of the entire pre-lit tree.

You can replace the lights on the pre-lit trees. They are attached to the limbs with plastic connectors. Pain in the ass, but doable.

But, to be fair, I only did it once. And this year, I plan to replace two of my trees as these two are old and have some broken limbs and dimmed lighting. I put up three trees - one in the dining room, one in my office (which would probably be labeled as a den on the floorplan), and one in the living room.

Yeah, we got about halfway through pulling the lights off a pre-lit tree and said forget it. Never again.
