Could not have been more opposite on the political spectrum than SJL, but she was kind enough the many times I met her and spent time with her. Prayers for her family as they mourn her death and **** cancer indeed. RIP Queen Weave.

1. Cancer sucks. Hate that she succumbed to that awful disease.

2. She didn't do a damn thing for her congressional district for 30 ****ing years. Nothing, and they voted for her regardless.

Isn't pancreatic the one that got Swayze too? A real Houston icon. I'd rather drive on the Patrick Swayze Freeway before I'd take that SJL Express. Never want to see anyone die, but she was an awful person and worse elected official. No tears here.
