A friend of our daughter has a severe skin issue going on right now.
Looking for children's dermatologist (or other Dr) to help with her condition, in Spring/Woodlands area (but don't mind driving out the area).

She's 8 yrs old and has had exzema since she was 5 months old. A long while back (prior to this current issue) they took her to have an allergy test and Dr said she was allergic to dust mites.

Last week both of her hands started to develop red sores and swollen fingers. The parents are frustrated and have tried everything they can think of and nothing is working. They tried MD Live and was prescribed antibiotics and cream and have seen another doctor. They just want to find out the root cause. They said she can't stop scratching her skin, and the she is getting down! poor thing!

Spring Dermatology. Dr. Carr is wonderful. Both of my girls had significant eczema and she was great. Her front office leaves something to be desired but she's got wonderful bedside manner and has a niche skillset in pediatric dermatology. Good luck.

Get them to get her on Dupixient. It's a once a month injection. My daughter had terrible excema as a baby and throughout her early years and now she's a different person because of it.

Mom said that her daughter is even scratching in her sleep! Ugh!

We saw her for my son who would randomly develop hives. She knew exactly what was going on after 5 min. Before we spend 6 months with pediatrician doing all kinds of tests with no results.
