100% cloud coverage and storms later today. Mother Nature is a spiteful ***** because its probably going to be baby blue sky tomorrow.

Yeah but if wasn't crappy weather you'd still be able to see partial eclipse.

There is currently no sun out at all and crappy weather.

Drove from Katy to Rogers TX, a little traffic north of Brenham going up but none coming back, and the clouds cooperated.

Mostly went to hang out with my kid.

Booked it out of Marlin as soon as totality broke. Felt like leaving CS after a football game. Luckily stayed ahead of most of it and got back in 2.4 hrs. You could tell it was turning to a **** show really fast. Good luck to anyone trying to make the drive today.

Left north Austin within 10m of totality ending. Got home in just over 2:10 with no traffic. Was awesome of you dummies talking about watching it in Houston just need to stfu because even if the sky had been clear you wouldn't have seen anything cool

Left Ennis at 2 p.m. Took around 30 minutes extra on 45, but nothing too bad.

I didn't know you could look at it when it's total. That was pretty neat. Not as cool as a day hike up a 14er, but still pretty neat. And better than a day at work.

Hit a bit of traffic on 10 but nothing too crazy. Had to get creative with the route a bit. At 146 and 10 now. Traffic added about an hour to the trip I would say but I have been driving like a bat out of hell

First two from my son in Dallas. Last two from Horseshoe Bay. Seriously a cool event. We had Dark Side of the Moon cranking and cocktail flowing. Fun time.

Traffic was pretty bad coming back from Waco. Took an hour longer than it usually does. It was worth every minute though!

Drove up to Reagan with the family and left within 5-10 mins of totality ending. We were going to go to Marlin but found a spot. Traffic wasn't bad at all getting back but k ow some folks who went to Waco that said traffic sucked getting back.

This is a terrible take from your buddy. Totality far exceeded my expectations. It is a completely different experience in taking in the eclipse. The experience makes you feel so insignificant compared to the wonders of the universe and how there must be a creator that set all this into motion. Anything outside of totality is very meh in comparison.

I get now why people chase it all over the planet. When the darkness turns to light there is a sense of sadness that it's over so quickly.
