Interesting for sure! Is this a free to subscribers kinda joint once it hits streaming platforms? I'm in if its something i already pay for, but can live with my memories of KLOL growing up if this McGuff blogger expects remuneration via streaming service.

He was a damn good friend of mine. We were polar opposites but hung out a lot in HS and had some great times.

His original name when he was an intern was "the knave".

Did anyone ever get to attend, or know someone, who went to those Holiday Balls every Christmas season? I was too young, but they sounded epic

Yep, mid-90's Richmond Strip Bikini Competition JR was la mejor. Run a week's worth of anti-biotics through her and she's ready to go.

We got the pay per view back when I was in high school. Lots of stripper titties. Locke wore a helmet cam shaped like a big dong. And, did I mention the stripper titties?

Jake went thru absolute hell and survived illness and surgeries that were extreme before eventually passing.

I knew a gal he dated for a time and also knew his dad from time at BC.

He was tough to be able to go thru all of that as long as he did.

We only interacted a few times but I enjoyed his company those times.

I don't remember him but McGuff had a good write up:

Don't forget Locke Siebenhausen. His "man on the street" bits he would do for Stevens & Pruett were epic. Some of them I can't believe they got away with on radio.

They would send him downtown to bother people and it was always entertaining. Giving people a Wrap That Rascal keychain was always a bold move.

The time that Locke and Tom Lawler went to the massage parlor was a highlight of that era.

I met up with Tito (Jake) one night in 2010 when I was visiting New York. We got the VIP treatment at the Manhattan bars we went to that night.

I was too young as well. They made videos a few times of some of the festivities. Those balls looked.....interesting. And entertaining.

Yep. Cistic Fibrosis, he would occasionally be out for a while in school but he always came back like nothing had ever happened.

I think he had both lungs replaced before it finally caught up to him.

He did have them replaced. That transplant is an ass kicking. And he powered thru it for a long time.

Somehow my aunt wrangled some tickets and my uncle took my grandpa to one of the Holiday Balls. Never did get to pick his brain about the shenanigans, and he passed in 2010.

I dated a girl whose divorced mom got taken to one by a guy she was dating. She wasn't super forthcoming with details about it. I think I might still have a video tape of one of them, but it could have been purged when we moved last year. As somebody else said, lots of stripper titties.

The time they took Bobby Washington over to Vidor in the limo to walk into places asking "Where the white women at?" was pretty funny too. I got the impression it got a bit too real pretty fast with the way they ended the bit and bugged out.

Locke would wear a dildo cam on his head and crawl under tables. Lots of women sans panties that had no issue showing the camera all of the goods, often with other women helping put things on display.

That's what I remember most from the video.
