Did anyone ever get to attend, or know someone, who went to those Holiday Balls every Christmas season? I was too young, but they sounded epic

Took a look at these and I'm no longer master of my domain.schmellba99 said:https://garyweb.net/holidayball/Spy1.shtmldigging tunnels said:

My dad wrote comedy for S&P. Wrote a great many Uncle Waldo sketches for them. He went to several of the balls and he always said it was absolutely every bit as wild as whatever story you've heard.digging tunnels said:

These chicks all remind me of the two calls from Fargo that called Steve Buscemi "funny looking."

As of Friday morning 11/11/04 our current flagship station KLOL FM in Houston will become yet another spanish station for Houston and W&J have emphatically not been offered a Clear Channel alternative. You will no doubt hear or read corporate spin as to how the show just did not work out in Houston. Don't you buy it. In the lastest morning ratings W&J were the top ranked (non-ethnic) morning show in Houston in our target 25-54 demographic. We had great trepidation early on about associating the show with CC Radio since they had a well documented history of hiring away successful shows that they could not beat in other markets and then icing them when they thought it safe to do so. But we accepted the risk because the lure of putting our beloved show on the air in our own hometown seemed to outweigh the risk of this type of competition elimination. In this case we think they were confounded by our success in spite of a complete lack of support in marketing, advertising, and PR by CC Radio for the Walton and Johnson Show. Since we have now built a large and loyal listener base that exceeded the performance of the base radio station on a regular basis we do not intend to throw it away and leave Houston. This is our home and we will not be disposed of so easily. Houston listeners keep checking this website and we will let you know where to find us.

I remember he came to career day at my elementary and I thought I was meeting an A-list celebrity. The dude was on the news AND KLOL.Buford T. Justice said:
Whatever happened to Craig Roberts?
She lived in my neighborhood. She would always mow her yard in a bikini. Teen and pre-teen boys would always choose that time to ride their bikes up and down the street. The Kraken said:

Wow haven't thought about Chuck Shramek in a long time! Apparently he was somewhat of an astronomer and took a distorted picture of Comet Hale-Bopp which looked to him like a UFO was hitching a ride behind the comet. He informed Art Bell on Coast to Coast and it ignited a firestorm of conspiracy. The Heaven's Gate folks lapped it up and figured the spaceship in Shramek's photo was how they would reach alien enlightenment when the comet got closer to Earth.
TLDR: Cultists justify suicide based on former KLOL reporter's blurry comet photo
