So now I have to wait for the second set of replacement CC.

It's been discussed before. I forget exactly when but it's been a while, maybe late in W's presidency or under the Obamunist but there were some pretty debates over how USPS was billions of dollars in the red and lost hundreds of millions annually and there were people talking about eliminating and/or privatizing USPS. It was pointed out that it would never happen because at this point it's basically a jobs program for minorities.
Was the second replacement sent via USPS? I had something similar happen a few years ago with AMEX, wasn't this boondoggle, but USPS did lose it. AMEX overnighted the second replacement via FedEx. About a month later the first replacement arrived via USPS.TarponChaser said:Yup.El Gallo Blanco said:

I was told it's just packages. Letters are going to another sorting facility.
I'm still waiting for a package that was shipped to me before January 1.

I just received a fairly important, time sensitive letter postmarked 1/5/24 via USPS. Good times.

Got a notice on 1/18/24 that our PO Box was up for renewal the end of January. Only info on the notice was the price was going up if not paid by January 21st. No renewal form, no price to renew before 1/21/24, no price listed for after.
Waited in line 35 minutes to renew to be told "only one person could do that and they weren't here. Maybe try tomorrow."
After I asked why they couldn't do it, they supposedly tried and couldn't find my box in the system. "It must be locked out" . I had to explain I wouldn't have gotten the notice from inside my box if they had changed the lock. And my box was good through the end of the month pee the notice.
Blank stare.
I tried doing it online. According to the USPS website, my box doesn't exist. Our company has only had it for 5 or 6 years as our primary mail collection point.

The sad part is the incompetence won't stop once it leaves that facility. Our mail lady always puts the package in a package locker in the mailbox cluster but never puts the key in your actual mailbox. I've had to walk by the mailbox every 30 minutes some days to try to catch her, leave notes taped to the mailbox to try to get them out, etc
Chocolate was supposed to be delivered on the 26th...eta now 29th... Who wants to bet it gets here by mid february?

If you go to the USPS site you can file an inquiry into your package. I had some gold and silver sitting around languishing and then they were magically found a day after I submitted the form online
