Is this just packages? What about letters?

Maybe this explains why it is taking weeks to get a replacement card in the mail that should have come in a few days.

Maybe we can get a presidential campaign promise to eliminate the USPS entirely
The number of non-junk-mail items I get on an annual basis (other than packages) can probably be measured on one hand
Was the second replacement sent via USPS? I had something similar happen a few years ago with AMEX, wasn't this boondoggle, but USPS did lose it. AMEX overnighted the second replacement via FedEx. About a month later the first replacement arrived via USPS.TarponChaser said:Yup.El Gallo Blanco said:

Ordered replacement CC a month ago. Should have taken 5-7 business days to get here. On Friday before I heard about the mail issues I figured they were lost or stolen in the mail so I cancelled the replacements and requested new cards. Well, the first replacement set showed up yesterday but I can't activate them because of the CC# being cancelled and flagged for potential fraud. So now I have to wait for the second set of replacement CC.
Can you believe it - as of this morning it moved from USPS Facility Houston, TX on 1/6/24 to USPS Facility North Houston 21 days later.Ag13 said:
I have a Christmas return that I sent right at the beginning of January and it has not been updated since saying it arrived at the carrier facility several weeks ago.

You don't think Dora can get around that? Set up drop boxes throughout the county.Biz Ag said:
On the bright side, it'll make ballot harvesting more difficult.
The unregistered, non-citizens and the dead can't vote in person. They can only do it by mail.
I'm not 100% certain, but I think the TX Leg passed a law to put a stop to that and limit the number of boxes.Martin Q. Blank said:You don't think Dora can get around that? Set up drop boxes throughout the county.Biz Ag said:
