Looking for recommendations in the Woodlands area for an ENT. I don't think I have an ear infection but seem to have fluid or something "stuck".

Thanks!

I have had many ear infections and the liquid in the ear feeling is how they have all started.

Getting an appointment for an ENT can take months. Your regular doctor should be able to take care of that.

Texas ENT up there. Explain and maybe a NP can vacuum it out.

I use Texas ENT in Webster and a physician's assistant has always taken care of me. Usually can get an appointment within a day or two rather than waiting a week or two to see a doctor.

Have you tried swim ear drops? I use those about twice a month when I feel fluid in an ear. I'll put 5 drops in an ear and leave it tilted a few minutes, then put in a piece of Kleenex for several more minutes. Then I do the other ear. I think a Dr. once told me to try that. It works.

No ear drops. I'm thinking it's probably not fluid/water. I have an unrelated health issue that makes me want to see an ENT rather than a regular family dr. Thanks to my health issue (think MDA), I don't want mess around.
And borrowing from the FB board... it ain't like it used to be!!

If you are willing to go down to the medical center (maybe tie it in with an MDA visit?), I would highly recommend Dr Eric Powitsky at the Center for ENT on Bellaire near Stella Link. He helped with the testing for my hearing loss that eventually ended up with an MS diagnosis. My wife has seen him for sinus/allergy issues as well as Dr Hung in the same practice. If Powitzky or Hung don't have appts available on your timeframe, they have several other good ENTs in the same practice.

Yep. We've used Dr. Raney and love him.

I'm a big fan of that PA.

Highly recommend you get in ASAP. Hopefully it's not a big deal but if you have an inner ear issue, time could be of the essence.

I have a great one in Kingwood, but you can probably find a solid doctor closer to you.

Also, you can get appointments faster at the Conroe/Willis location (like next Friday) than his Spring/Woodlands location if you're willing to drive a little bit more.
