Who has 4 for sale for the Bun B show?

This morning, I couldn't tell you a single song Lainey Wilson sang. But we took my stepdaughter today and I thought she put on a good show. Has a hell of a set of pipes on her. The place was PACKED. Reminds me why I avoid the rodeo even though I love watching the rodeo itself....too many people.

I figured. We passed on the Loop around 2 and the Astroworld/Waterworld lot looked pretty packed already.

Went yesterday becasue it was a matinee rodeo and the kids could see it. Parking at Fannin and riding the metro train in and out was super easy.

Other than that it was your typical **** show. Bunch of women with their fat bellies hanging out. People trying to run over my kids to get one spot ahead in line. And enough mj to get a contact high.

Only day there was an afternoon rodeo start we could make. When you got little kids that want to see the rodeo you have to make due with what the schedule gives you.

We were there from 12-7.

I've had to work some Tejano days. It's generally the nicest crowd; lots of families and people are actually nice to the volunteers working on the ground. But that dense sea of humanity is not something I would voluntarily attempt to enter.

But then, I've started experiencing near claustrophobia exiting the stadium ramp on the south side by the midway after packed concerts.

Whiskey Myers feedback from last night?

Chairman's Club (700 level) is legit. Good food and a great variety of booze.

Whiskey Myers played too much off their new album and not enough of the classics. Acoustics (sound) was great from the 700 level.

Agree that the Whiskey Myers set didn't have enough of their older stuff and I heard similar moaning from several people while leaving last night.

Acoustics weren't great in the 400 suite level. Lots of echo.

anyone have decent seats for Brad Paisley. Looking for 4. Want to take my kids for the first time.

We were surprised by the good sound in the 700 club. This is the top level so nothing behind us to echo off of.

Agree on the Whiskey Meyer's set list. I didn't expect all their classic country stuff but did expect a fair amount of what Texas Country people know.

Also thought they would have show more excitement for the venue but they didn't seem to care.

I was down low but thought the acoustics got better as the show went on. Could definitely hear his voice more clear as the show went on.

The suites have the worst acoustics. Especially if you're in the suite. The front row of the suite is usually the best. Any further back and the sound starts bouncing around.

yeah, that was on me for not knowing their newer stuff very well, but I don't think the show was well received by most of the folks around me (or the stadium in general judging from the exodus).

They sounded like a Ted Nugent cover band at times. I liked a lot of the riffs but the vocals didn't seem to match with the music very well. Could have just been a bad mix, but I wasn't super impressed.

Parking at Astroworld is pretty easy to get in and out of, you just pay when you get there.
