In katy. Are the prices there worth the effort Vs their normal prices +10%off and free shipping?
Really makes you think.Sea Speed said:
Years ago in another life I replaced a large portion of the pumps they use to pump the 2 part chemical that makes the foam in to the cooler shells.
Go to the back of the store to the open box shelf and the prices are significantly better than the rest of the store.Ag_07 said:
But I have heard that the RTIC outlet store at their facility right there on 290 has some pretty good deals.
Damn, that seems like a hell of a deal. Surely their quality is not much or a drop-off from RTIC right?aggiedata said:

Igloo does not make a rotomolded cooler anymoreDiggity said:
doesn't appear to be rotomolded, which is why the capacity is so high, relative to size.
Not a cooler snob, I am just familiar with the Igloo facility and their manufacturing processes. Some parts of most hard side coolers are blow molded and some are injection molded. The old Yukon series of coolers was rotomolded. That product line was eventually replaced with the IMX which is injection molded. Injection molding is exponentially faster and more efficient than rotomolding.Sazerac said:
They call it blow molded
They certainly have hard sided coolers that are similar to Rotomolded
But I'm no cooler snob

I've stopped by twice, once on Black Friday, and I did not find the prices to be much cheaper than anywhere else. Like the other reply stated, they have some things you might not find elsewhere, but I would not go expecting to score huge bargains.
