Will TXDMV accept an out of state vehicle inspection?
The kid took a car to college 9+ hours away. He left last month because he's spending the summer with his dad. The car won't be back in TX until December.
I completely forgot about inspections/renewals, but doing one ahead of time wouldn't have worked anyway because he left more than 90 days before the expiration. I guess I could have just renewed early, but it wasn't even on my radar, and I didn't get the renewal notice until after he was gone.
Will they take an out of state inspection (assuming we could even find someone to do it…I'm thinking a dealership ~might~ help us out).
