Going to be flying into Houston in a couple weeks, potential flight gets in at midnight. Anyone have experience getting a ride from IAH to a Houston adjacent area, like Baytown that late at night?
Wouldn't mind a couple bucks here or there, but I am a cheapskate.Milwaukees Best Light said:
That isn't a terrible drive anymore, with the beltway and 99. Uber will do it. If all else fails, there are still taxis. Or, are you trying to save a dollar or two?

Horrible advice!! Do not try to do this from terminal A. Just last week I landed at around 11pm into terminal C which was pretty dead.sushi94 said:
with all the construction issues at IAH - my experience has been uber waits are very long. especially from terminal c. you may want to catch the ride at a or b.
where does this service come in in terms of price?Randyag15 said:
there is an app called Wingz very much like uber but they only pick up and take to the airports. I have used them for years. You won't have to stress about finding a ride that late at night because they will monitor your flight and text you when you land about where they are and where they will pick you up.

Terminal A on the other hand had a line about 1/2 mile long of cars waiting to get in to pick passengers up.
