This video is insane. The lane splits at 140 mph are WILD. no way this dude doesn't end up dead in the near future.

that guy is an *******. when he inevitably smashes into a car, that other driver is going to have to live with it.

He made the turn at post oak and dropped to 100 mph momentarily. I think I saw his speedometer hit 186 one time.

Any chance he has his speedometer set kilometers per hour for effect?

I want to know what day and time he did this. I didn't watch the whole thing, but I've NEVER seen that little traffic on the loop.

He could have done it during the early part of the pandemic. But other than that, it would have to be middle of the night to have so little traffic. That he pulled this off during the day is unreal.

the daylight/sun looks to me around mid morning. but it has to be either a holiday, sunday, height of the pandemic, etc because i agree it is almost totally empty. or, some editing was done.

I can see it being a Sunday morning

Traffic does get heavier (still light as hell) later in the video once he gets n the north and east sides of 610.

Insane none the less

Ooooo could be. The YouTuber last comments were around 12 hours ago, and looks like in the video he is riding a white motorcycle.

That bike.

Who is to say he doesn't have multiple bikes?

Just looking at his YouTube channel most of the videos I see are of him on a red bike with a couple of a black bike.

This looks pretty recent with all of that construction around Kirby to 288 on the South Loop.

I drove the 610 loop early one Sunday morning about two years ago and the traffic was very consistent with that.

These guys do this quite a bit I think and shocked they survive as often as they do.

Lots of surprising things about this.

Just the road surface in general seems enough to cause a fatal accident given enough time. Let alone one lane change by any driver.

Even if your eyes were watching the rearview mirror 100% of the time a bike moving that fast is not perceptible for most of us on a good day.

Living in Oak Forest about a mile and a half north of 610, we could hear these jackwagons racing at ridiculous speeds clear as day on a regular basis. I want to say Tuesday nights?

F'n idiots.

The only time I ever see 610 between Woodway and Richmond NOT completely jammed up seems to be early in the am. But there are still quite a few cars on the road at almost all hours.

Wednesday nights? I've heard them for years starting about 9:30-10:00 at night (I live in Heights). I think they meet in the Target parking lot off Taylor and Katy Frwy.

This guy in the video is just insane. So many things beyond his control (pot holes, drivers changing lanes, road debris).

I see and hear them nightly. Out walking the dog and you can tell they are traveling really fast. By the faint sound in the distance, to very loud, back to faint in just a few short moments.

Yeah, I think you're right. Been a while but I knew it was either Tue or Wed. We were just south of 43rd off Rosslyn and I could not believe how loud it would get on a clear night.

I heard a lot of DL dudes use crotch rockets to meet up on weeknights because they're on tight schedules while their wives are cpap-ing.

Makes perfect sense. My inlaws live up in The Woodlands...I always chalked it up to midlife crisis or just the types of hobbies that come with suburban boredom, but the amount of street bikes and 450 cc dirt bikes I see in the garages of white males up there is staggering. The inlaws are Asian, so they keep to themselves and are completely oblivious to the deviancy taking place all around them. I never fully connected the dots until now... great point.

Road debris for sure is a risk. If he were to lane split at 130mph and get thru that only to hit a chunk of tire on the stripe, he's toast.

These dudes and the guys racing their riced-out Hondas love the NE part of the Beltway from 59 around to 90/Wallisville. Newest and least jacked up section and least amount of traffic. You can hear them for miles around.

My heart was racing just watching that. I could see so many instances there where someone does something erratic and changes lanes unexpectantly because someone is coming up behind them at 150+ mph.

In the early spring, I was leaving IAH and had just moved onto Hardy and about one minute later 6-8 of them passed me as if I was sitting still. It was around 9:30p.m. and the sound scared the hell out of me.
They were out of site in just a few seconds.

I drive back and forth from the IAH area to The Woodlands for work every day. I've seen the same thing several times.
