Non-denoms are pretty wishy washy when it comes to religion. I wouldn't categorize it as a serious question.BigTex83 said:
I would have expected better responses to a serious question regarding a good church home. Sorry OP. I'm not familiar with that part of Houston as far a churches but good luck! God bless!
Church of Christ is non-denominational and is probably the most accurate modern day reflection of the early Christian Church and certainly one of the most scripturally sound, if not the most.Martin Q. Yes, and all the Baptists, Methodists, etc are representing Christ's love so wonderfully in this thread.
One thing you'll need to survive in Houston (in addition to a case of bleach and tactical armor) is a sense of humor. Good luck and God Bless.Quote:

But it's neither a pep rally or a fancy gala event or a prosperity doctrine/motivational seminar, so it gets a lot of hate from outsiders.

I'm still waiting for a punchline. So far the only joke I've seen is how much of the childish trolling is coming from Ag tags.

I don't know about these other jokers, but I, for one, am proud of you for not calling your wife "the rib."

Sad that no one has mentioned "The Church" yet. This board has lost a step.

You have a lot of hate for your previous neighbors and have made that clear with your judgemental attitude and rash stereotyping.
But hey. You're better than us and and follow the closest congregation to the first version of the church. God bless you and your misguided views.
No. I think you are thinking of Christ Church in Katy.Martin Q. Blank said:Is that the one with the pastor who was recently elected moderator at General Assembly?Marvin_Zindler said:
