Great little place on S Post Oak. Hate to see this… bottoms up because of the bad economy.

Surprised Annie's is still kicking.

it isn't "the economy", but probably a big change in lunch traffic in that area.. just guessing

Went to Annie's the other day, and it had been a while, and I really dont know how it is still open other than the neighborhood still eats there a lot, I guess.

Cue's is terrible.
Nice people, but everything they serve is reheated sysco frozen food. Cant believe they lasted this long. Annies is next.
Always the most goodest

Probably something to that. It's also been a tough environment for small restaurants that don't have some kind of foodie/specialty appeal.

Annie's was the favorite place for my mom and her friends when I was a kid, and they were friends with the owner. But every time I go back and try it again in recent years, I end up with a grease attack that reminds me why I don't go more often. The lack of competition for a decent burger place in the area probably sustained it.

Cue's was always off-limits because the lady who started it had worked at Annie's for years and it was a nasty separation. Think there was even some legal drama.

Annie's is a pretty decent little greasy spoon spot.

It could possibly be a shell of its former glory, but I dig it in a pinch.

Supposedly the old dialysis and Chase Bank corner down the road is going to be a carwash as well.

That's 3 new ones within a couple blocks.

Very strange.

Not missing much, went there one time and one time was more than enough.

Gas stations server better hamburgers. Now... you want a good burger, try little bitty burger barn on Antoine Dr.

When a Cue's Burger closes a Trill Burger gets it's wings.
