I haven't been in years but I feel Bistro Le Cep should come with the caveat that it is fine for the price. Bistro Provence was much better at the same price point so I never felt the need to go back. But they are closed and I haven't tried the new Bistro 555. It won't have the same personality that Genny brought.


We live in the area and Bistro Provence was always a special occasion restaurant. Loved Genny and the staff.

OP here. Thanks for the suggestions. We live in Humble, so I should've mentioned that we've done Chez Nous a few times already. Agree it's legit.

Leaning towards Artisan or Maison Pucha based on your feedback so far.

We loved Bistro Provence, and love Bistro 555. Great atmosphere, small and cozy, love the smell of bread baking in the wood fired oven.
