Witnessed something y'all might like, given this board's appreciation for the Tine's best and brightest being oh-so-respectful out in the community.
I went to Shipley Donuts this morning to pick up a couple dozen donutsfor me to hog down to cheer up some folks. In front of me was some guy who had apparently bought a half dozen donuts for himself. He ate four of them, then decided he didn't want the last two. He had come back to the store to return the two donuts he wasn't going to eat.
The clerk looks at him like the moron he is and just says no. He starts to argue with her about it and slaps the box down and opens it to emphasize those two donuts, specifically, are the ones she needs to take back because he is not going to eat them. I caught a glimpse of them and it looked like he had fingered them both to death. He just could not comprehend why she would not give him his money back for uneaten donuts.
I guess he was an ubereats driver or something because he started threatening that he would no longer deliver for them if she didn't give him his money back. When she told him it didn't affect them if he stopped delivering (because someone else would), he started yelling at her and causing an even bigger scene. All the while, the line has backed up to about 12-15 customers. She finally offered him $2 to go away, which he took as she threw the two donuts in the trash.
